Description:

A downbeat Toronto-Tamil millennial has to host her visiting cousin’s grand desire for a wild vacation, while working on how to move back out of her parents’ house.

SUKU

Principal, Lead

Tamil-Canadian woman, age late 20s

Dry-witted cynic, prone to being frazzled from constant over-compartmentalization of her life. She truly comes alive when talking about food.

 

JEGA

Principal, Supporting

Suku’s mom, Tamil-Canadian woman, age 50s to 60s

A woman whose laser-focused eyes speak more than her words. Reserved, composed, masking a vulnerability.

 

RATHINI 

Principal, Supporting

Suku’s cousin, UK-Tamil woman, age late 20s, has London UK accent

Excitable, unfiltered, sexually liberated, knowledgeable about random theories, fiery when lines are crossed.

 

 

Note:  Themes of sexuality and substance use. No nudity.

Where: GTA/Toronto, Ontario

Status: Paid, ACTRA, and Non-ACTRA
