Location: GTA/Toronto
Logline: A downbeat Toronto-Tamil millennial has to host her visiting cousin’s grand desire for a wild vacation, while working on how to move back out of her parents’ house.
Genre/Style: Slice-of-life dramedy, character-oriented and dialogue-driven (such as Frances Ha, Ghost World)
Creative Treatment: Slightly offbeat yet grounded in reality 90s film aesthetic. Aesthetic references: Ghost World (2001)
Stylist (Wardrobe) Responsibilities:

Character Development: Collaborate with the director and actors to understand the characters and their personalities.

Script Analysis: Analyze the script to determine the clothing requirements for the scene, taking into account the cultural context, setting, and mood.

Designing and Sketching: Create sketches and designs for each costume.

Budget & Schedule Management: Source or create costumes within financial and time constraints.

Fittings and Adjustments: Conduct fittings with actors to ensure that costumes fit properly and are comfortable. Make adjustments as needed.

Costume Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of costumes throughout the production, ensuring that costumes are cleaned and properly stored.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as art direction, makeup and hair, to ensure that the overall look of the characters is cohesive.

On-Set Supervision: During filming or performances, be on set to handle any issues that arise with the costumes. Ensure that costumes look consistent between takes.
